各位親愛的家長及同學：

Dear parents and students,

教育局已正式宣佈全港學校即將復課，老師們正密鑼緊鼓地為大家作好準備，迎接同學們回校上課。工友已經再一次清洗及消毒校舍，好讓學生及家長也能安心。對於復課的安排，大家不用擔心，當我們準備好所有安排後，老師們會利用不同的渠道確保每位家長及同學知悉。老師將會以陽光電話及實時學習的軟件通知各位，並附以短片作講解，務求讓大家徹底明白各項安排，其中包括回校上課、小息、放學流程。由於復課安排比較繁複，故老師們需多花一點時間作妥善安排，請各位耐心等待。

The Education Bureau announced class resumption, so teachers are intensely carrying out preparatory work to welcome you all back to school. School janitors cleaned and disinfected the school premises again to ensure parents and students feel safe. Don’t worry! When we have finished all class resumption preparatory work, teachers will ensure that all parents and students understand the arrangements. Not only will teachers explain by phone, but they will also utilize real-time learning soft-wares and create short videos to explain, making sure that everyone fully understands the arrangements, including school lessons, recess and home time procedures. As the class resumption arrangements are quite complicated, teachers need some time to prepare. Thank you for your patience.

學校今年將會「大改造」，因為教育局批准學校進行多項工程，由內到外也會展開翻新工程，所以大家明年將會見到一所煥然一新的「劉德容」校舍。由於工程現已開展，學校暫時會以「真面目」示人，希望大家不要厭棄它或取笑它，更重要的是須注意安全。當它成功「蛻變」後，它一定會是最耀眼奪目的。

This year, the school will undergo a big “transformation”. This is because the Education Bureau has permitted various construction works, so the school can be renewed from the inside out! Next year, we will see a refurbished LTY school building. Construction works have already started; the school will temporarily show its “true colours”, so please don’t detest it or laugh at it, and do be careful on the school premises. When it fully transforms, it will be remarkably dazzling.

當學校停課的時候，教師的工作也沒有因此而停下來，他們不停學習，為大家的學習模式改動而作出調適。他們首先為大家製作了不少的學習短片，他們花了很多心思和時間去製作。之後的實時網上學習，老師也先要學習如何操作軟件，然後準備教材及儀器、再進行共同備課，好讓大家能夠安在家中，足不出戶也可以如常學習。老師們在背後付出了許多努力，大家應該感激他們的辛勞。希望同學在網上學習時，態度能更認真、更積極，不要辜負學校為大家安排的學習計劃。

During the school suspension, teachers haven’t stopped working. They learnt how to adopt new teaching and learning methods for students. First, they spent a lot of time creating many high-quality learning videos. Next, the learning method changed to real-time online lessons. They had to learn the controls and equipment, prepare teaching materials and co-plan lessons in order to turn classroom lessons into online lessons. Students could stay at home and learn simultaneously, all thanks to the hard work of our teachers. We should all appreciate their effort. Students should take e-learning sessions seriously and improve concentration. Don’t waste the school’s arrangements for you. Furthermore, please cherish what we already have and the time we have to spend with each other.

轉眼間，我已經在「劉德容」生活了一年九個月了，在學校的每個角落也可以感受到大家的愛，老師愛護學生，同學熱愛上學，彼此互相關懷，家長們既主動又積極地協助學校，令學校得以穩步地發展。特此向各位報喜，我們在三月收到通知，我校榮獲2019年度「關愛校園」的榮譽。在此衷心感謝黃小慧老師及魏碧容老師的付出，她們先細心地觀察學校，然後寫了一份出色的報告參賽，最後使我校成功獲獎。我們會繼續努力，令學校成為一所「愛」的學校。

In the twinkling of an eye, I have already been at LTY for 1 year and 9 months. I can feel our care for each other everywhere. Teachers take good care of students; students love going to school; and parents assist the school enthusiastically, enabling our school to develop sustainably. In May, we were notified that our school was honoured with a “Caring School Award” for 2019. Thank you to Miss Pavlova Wong and Miss Emily Wei for the outstanding report they’ve submitted after their attentive observation of the school. We will continue to strive for excellence, and fill our school with love and care.

大家有沒有發現，在抗疫加油站中，鄭校監及蘇校長也為大家留言打氣。他們在五月十五日回校與學校的主任開會，主任們向他們匯報停課期間的工作及復課的安排。他們最後也為大家留下文字，為家長及學生打氣！太好了，他們十分支持大家！我們一起繼續努力吧！

Has anyone discovered the messages from Supervisor, Mr. Cheng and Principal, Mr. So at the LTY Anti-epidemic Cheer Up Station? They came to school on 15th May to have a meeting with senior school staff. Work arrangements during school suspension and class resumption arrangements were reported. In the end, they left some positive messages for parents and students! It’s great that they support us all! Let’s keep doing our best!
